The pool is great, with beautiful views, the gardens and access to the shore is wonderful. The power of the shower and heat of the water is superb ( although the dirty shower head lets it down badly) The balcony view is one of the key factors but is completely wasted by the dirty glass and poorly maintained glass paneling which makes it almost impossible to open with any ease

Communication with the host, no communication until arrival day. The battle to get into the complex in the first place, even after passport info was sent the day of booking . The bedroom door handle that the cleaner pulled off before leaving, fixed by a locksmith after some whats app tennis with the agent,The rusty, toilet brush, bins, dirty shower heads and taps, the disgusting condiments set and jars. The chipped and scuffed walls all over, the cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, the rusty marks all over the floors, the bathroom cabinets that are swelling up due to years of water damage, the balcony cupboards swelling and peeling from water damage. The almost unusable I serviced in years glass balcony doors that prevent enjoyment of the best asset of this apartment the view, they have been reported three times in reviews in feb24,dec23 and jun 22 and never been fixed. The leaking glass balcony doors that lead to flooded floors. The missing tumble dryer. The rusty fridge with dirty handle that I cleaned. The years of grime on the inside of the front door again I cleaned three stripes into the dirt. The disgustingly dirty sink in the utility with slime and hair under a broken soap dish, not been cleaned for years. The tall kitchen cupboard with the door fallen off and just left down the side of the washing machine. Not a single coat hanger in three wardrobes fitted with rails. The tv that doesn’t work because one remote has no batteries, the other is totally flat. There is NOTHING luxury about this apartment. The letting agent needs to get out of their office and visit . Renovation needed . It could be stunning. But LUXURY should not be a term used in the listing. If you are the agent reading this don’t just keep taking money whilst not spending a penny on the upkeep. Get down there, have a look yourself and don’t just send a cleaner in, she can’t fix the issues here, but she should be reporting them and you should be acting on them.

Miss a coffee machine

The location is perfect! Walking distance to the beaches and some sight seeing areas. You also have access to a smaller beach next to the property. This property is quick walk to Shopping Barra and Bompreco supermarket. Morro do Cristo and Farol da Barro are great places to watch the sunset. The apartment has fast internet, netflix for those late nights. Or just sit on the balcony and fall asleep listening to the waves all night. Stove and microwave and plenty of cooking utensils. Nice A/C units and hot shower. The property management communicates promptly.(I had a snag checking in. All on my end.) Got resolved within minutes. Property staff is super nice always felt safe at this property. Get an Uber and see the sights!! I can't wait to come back!!!

Overall everything was great. I wish the apartment was a little more furnished to feel more homely.
