Apartamentos de Alto Padrão no Solar Tambaú

Absolutely nothing. We got out of the apartment 10 minutes after we got in.

It is a dirty apartment. One bedroom has no windows at all. The airconditioner on the outside has several levels of dirt on it so turning it on and breathing that air is not an option. There is a crack on the kitchen table and stains on the couch. The apartment is advertised as having a terrace and is more expensive than their apartments that are advertised with balconies only. In reality, there is no terrace, there is a balcony that overlooks a very traffic crowded and noisy street. The communication with the host is terrible. When asked why there is no terrace, he said that there is a mistranslation/misunderstanding from the Portuguese word Varanda which would mean a balcony rather than a terrace. When asked why he advertises higher price for the terrace he simply ignored thw question. Money is all that interests him, so he could focus the conversation on was getting the pet fee. But to start from the begining, he gave me the code to the apartment half an hour late and only when I told him he could cancel the reservation if he wanted and I would ask for a refund. Why that happened? Well because he wanted to receive the pet fee very much. When told that I am a foreigner and can pay only by POS or booking link, he kept insisting that I withdraw money from the ATM and pay cash. I told him that was not an option because of the high commission and that he could cancel the booking if he wanted and I would ask for a refund, since I had made the booking on the eve, he basically didn't loose customers. At that point he gave me access to the apartment, waited for about 20 minutes and started insisting on the ATM again, disregarding my questions about the terrace and disregarding the payment options that I told him I could use. Anyways, as I mentioned earlier, when we saw the filth in the apartment, we simply left and that's when he stopped repeating about the pet fee. All in all that is an accurate description of our experience with this apartment.

The building location is good.

the apartment is in front a very crowded street. No way to rest during the night. The cleanlines is terrible. At fist day we found ants and little cockroaches around. We tried to communicate the host or even Booking. No answer. During the stay I tried to call the host 3 times. all the phone calls no answer.The host eventually answer mess something using messages but ignore the request to give the money back. The second room, no window small hatches or even any kind of closet. Uncompatible with the price. Very sad about this experience my last time in booking with this option no refunds. The partment is the 506 run way from this !!!

Host was very helpful. pool is beautiful. gym is big with lots of equipment. parking space is large and dedicated to the unit. plus this location is perfect! right on the beach and you have a great view from the pool area.

Spacious and clean apartment, private parking lot, huge and very clean piscina with a lot of space to enjoy sun or shade. Very easy check-in and good response.

The building was first class and felt brand new, as did the apartment. The location was excellent. It felt like it was in the center of everything. It was very comfortable. It had good water pressure and hot water in the shower. I liked the water purifier, which saved me buying lots of bottled water. There was good AC in both bedrooms and the living room. the second bedroom was pretty small with just a twin bed. I think the place would be too small for more than three people to stay there. Many other reviews talked about trouble with the building rules. I had no issues and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
