It was quite a trek up the hill so definitely needed own transport. Had some water issues that needed sorting

beautiful views on the hill overlooking the ocean but still close enough that you can walk to the beach. The apartment was spacious and clean and the staff were very helpful. Great value for money. Netflix and Wi-Fi provided free of charge and bread, milk and butter provided on arrival. we couldn’t be happier with our stay at Mai’I villas

it was such a lovely view and homely

the pool was too cold and too many insects

we were met afterhours and Jay kindly organized a dinner inside the penthouse. Because of the late arrival we were given the late check out which we appreciate a lot. Joy is excellent! Another great point is the 270 degree view - tropical view on the islands in the Raro lagoon

Location is great. 8 minutes walk to the beach, alongside coconut trees, paw-paw plantation and more. Close to the night market and of course close to Muri beach. View from the villa is what makes it exceptional. You have a 270 degree sea view. The rooms are big, clean and the bathrooms are huge. 2 people easily fit in the shower. Kitchen was not special, but it had a huge fridge, a micro, a gas stove and a few utensils. There was internet, so the "kids" ( young adults) had their daily feeds too. Oh, and the night sky: unparalleled. No light pollution.

A bit more utensils would have been better. Do not forget to start burning the mosquito repellents otherwise you can be easily scratching from head to toes. An awning would be nice in east-facing rooms. As the Sun had risen there is no escaping waking up.

I thought that it was lovely that the property provided bread and cereals for us to use during our stay :)
