Outside look old, but inside were renovated recently.

There was ample toilet paper.

The pictures are misleading! My sister saw a cockroach run by. The carpet reeked! Carpet covered the stairs and the entire upstairs bedroom area. Smell of mould or dampness in the air. I consistently woke up in the middle of the night because of itchiness. I’m not sure whether there were tiny bugs in the bed or not. My sister broke into hives as soon as she entered the home. There is no soap other than one watered down bottle. Unbelievable! We’re paying $250/night and there’s no hand soap or dish soap? The towels smelled bad and were questionable. Don’t get me started on the shower, the mat had a reddish brown stain. I wanted to gag. There was a broken closet and random trash items fell out of it like banana peels and other debris. The roof looked like it was caving in. The TV wasn’t working. Needs better hygiene.

Property in an ideal location for walking into the centre of Ottawa. Tim Hortons also within walking distance for breakfast!

Property did look a little tired/worn. But it was clean and comfortable, which are always my main priorities!

Location was a bonus. Close to bus stop in to city centre.

Door code instructions were inaccurate ... we had to work it out ourselves. Photos of property were old ... description was inaccurate for what we encountered. There were steep stairs and uneven floor surfaces we were not informed of prior to booking. Could not get stove or TV to work ... no instruction book for appliances was provided. Washing machine leaked. Some one else's underwear and socks found in one bedroom. Rusty bath tub was covered by plastic mat. Tried to make contact with host directly with our feedback but never got a reply from her.
