Quail Ridge

Lovely, well equipped apartment in a quiet part of Kelowna but in easy reach of all that you would want from exploring the area. The view from the windows overlook a rural golf course, the property has everything you require to prepare meals and is air conditioned which was mist welcome in the August sunshine!. Would definitely recommend to people wishing to self cater rather than having to eat out for every meal. Quail ridge lives up to its name with quails often visiting the patio area!

Location is good overall. Very quiet and peaceful stay.

The path to the facility is grass that is wet in the morning and potentially slippery. Not wheelchair accessible. The suite is at the back of the home and I would suggest a house number on a window for ease of finding the correct address.

Beautiful and quiet place with breathtaking view on the golf course across the street and the mountains at the other side of Okanagan Valley.

Instructions how to get there. The picture of the place on the AirBnB site is correct. However, it was not clear where to find the owner (at the other side of the house in another street).

One roll of toilet paper provided for 3 days. Come on! Which guest is going to go out to buy one more roll or bring TP with them? We heard owners walking around until 11:30 Pm in the upstairs of this basement apartment. Apartment is advertised as having AC. That’s a stretch, as there are no controls in the basement unit. Cool air only drifts into the basement when owners turn it on for themselves upstairs. The first night there, we lay on top of the bed, too hot to sleep. The owners do not even provide a fan to move air around in the bedroom. The experience was weird from the start. When a guest arrives, a key is taped to the upstairs owner’s door instructing the guest to drive 1/4 mile to the back side of the house. Then you gave to roll your suitcase up a grass slope. The owners were there our entire stay and they never bothered to say Hi or check in us. Yet we are asked to rate their “friendliness”? We have no idea why this place was so highly rated. Would we stay there again? No.
