Cameo Hotel and Suites

When you say that it is in the entertainment district, you should tell people that if thay are not on the front side of the building, you will not get to sleep until at least midnight, and probabley not until two am.

Le caméo hôtel est un appartement idéalement placé dans Halifax. En plein coeur du centre ville et à deux pas de toutes les attractions touristiques notamment la citadelle et le front de mer dont l'animation est remarquable. L'appartement est spacieux, très propre et très confortable. Il est parfaitement équipé de beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine. Tout est fourni, serviettes, produits pour douche, savon dans la cuisine, torchons etc ...cet appartement dispose d'un check in automatique, car il n'y a aucune réception humaine. Le check in peut se faire par internet 24h avant l'arrivée ou dans une borne située dans le Hall de l'hôtel. Tout cela peut paraître compliqué, mais finalement s'avère très simple à réaliser et une fois le paiement effectué en ligne et l'identité vérifiée, on dispose immédiatement des codes d'entrée dans le SAS d'entrée et la porte de l'appartement. Très pratique car aucune clé et seulement deux codes à retenir. Pour les clients motorisés je précise qu'il y a un parking public immense à 50m juste dans une rue adjacente. Ce qui est vraiment très pratique. Le prix est correct.

Appartement sans vue extérieure donnant sur un immense puits de jour mais cela n'est pas important pour un court séjour, et il y a certainement d'autres appartements avec des vues sans doute plus agréables....

The location was excellent. It was a bit cold and rainy outside so the constant warnings from the hotel about night life nd noise in the bars right under my window proved to be superfluous as no one was out there the nights I stayed at the hotel. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had nice thick large towels. The living area was okay. The couch had a short back and was hard to sit in to watch tv. The kitchenette was fully stocked with equipment and would have been well used had I been staying longer.

I wish I wish every hotel that proves a coffee pot and the ubiquitous free coffee and tea with the horrible creamers would do two things - please include decaf coffee and some herbal tea. And some real milk nd cream would be nice too. It’s done in every hotel we sta6ed in in Australia, New Zealand and Scotland. And it makes for a much nicer cuppa in the morning

This apartment had everything and felt like home. Very fesh, comfortable, clean and modern. Location excellent. Having free laundry facilities was extra special.

There are stairs if your mobility is a problem.

Checkin process was complex. Need to have better explanation after booking. ie you need to have paid well before arriving. Bed was aldo a little soft.
