Swiss Star Oerlikon Lodge - Self Check-In

Stayed here once and had a fine experience, but evidently any administrative issue is a problem that won't be fixed with this hotel. They refused to rebook for earlier dates in May (for a longer stay), despite having availability and us being willing to pay a fee. Blamed booking.com on being unable to change bookings, while rejecting change/cancellation requests sent via the website. Did not answer phone or allow leaving a voice message during business hours. I would understand if a concrete justification was given (responsibility was taken) as to why no change is allowed, but the communication suggested complete ambivalence at best and resulted in more time wasted in attempt to clarify.

Ausstattung sehr mau. Wasseekocher ohne Adapter -> unbrauchbar. 1 Bettdecke die viel zu klein ist für 2 Personen. Alles außer EG ist nicht Barrierefrei. Es gibt zwar einen Aufzug aber der ist nur über Treppen erreichbar.

Location is good. But can't pay this much just because location is good.

No shampoo, no TV remote, delayed check in for second room. Lots of ants, too noisy. No locks for bathroom. Room is not like the pictures shown on booking website.

Location was great. Just a few minutes to the Hallenstadion. Price was good too, I was not expecting much.

I booked a parking lot. It was occupied. The 5 digit code also did not work. I thought I was scammed, tbh. I called the number listed under the contact details quite a few times, no one answered. I decided to send a message. It took a while to figure out things. I got a different code, then got my keys. I was told to use the parking space in the Innenhof, so that was sorted too. The light switch in the bathroom did not work, there was a lamp instead. I could not get the blinds up, but this is just meckern vom feinsten.

Poor communication, size of the appartmen, no working tv and you can not use kettel if you dont have own swiss plug addapter.
