Pissouri Beach Apartments

I find it difficult to say anything good. We rented to property as we were visiting family. Over the last few days, we stayed with family. When we returned to hand over the property, there were other people living there. They had rented the property out when we had paid for it. Whether we were in it or not, we paid for it. They obviously saw that we were not in it and rented it out again. I have tried to get an explanation but they will not answer me. Shocking. The photos attached show that someone else had clearly been in there for some time.

The greeting "welcome home" is beautiful!! Perry and Adriana are incredible hosts, they are on hand and ready to help. The apartment was fabulous 😍

Having to leave!!!

Location was good

On arrival we were instructed to call a number and someone would guide us to the apartment. The ‘owner’ turned up at the meeting point seemingly unaware of how long we were staying, how many persons and the fact we had dogs. All of which was stated in the booking. He had one of his restaurant staff guide us to the apartment. On initial observation, although somewhat dated in appearance, the apartment looked ok. However, within around 30 minutes the whole apartment was shaking as building work commenced above us. The curtains were not big enough to cover the windows leading into the courtyard, not that we could as the work above was causing plaster and building materials to drop in the area, items such as expanding foam which is not a good idea when you have dogs. On informing the owner he told us he would sort it out and get them to stop. This initially happened but did continue using grinding tools and drills. We therefore went out in the afternoon and returned around teatime. On attempting to use the gas hob to heat some food,(no microwave provided although room was described as having one), we could not get it too light. After checking the gas connections it remained unusable. On contacting the owner and stating this fact and also asking the question ‘should this have been checked prior to renting the property - check it’s all working and has what is stated in the description?’, the owners reply was not what I expected. He said I was, and I quote ‘ a pussy and a Malaka (w****r)for complaining and he would come to the apartment and sort it out and refund my money!’. He did not attend the apartment but sent one of his staff to sort out gas issue, no mention of refunding monies was made at this time. The following morning the workmen returned and we went out for most of the day. The Monday morning was the final straw as the workers returned and the whole apartment was shaking again. We could not stay one moment longer and we informed the owner we were leaving.

The peace and quiet ! The apartment had everything you could think of , the only downside was the curtains don't cover the windows properly.
