Meric Apartment

Pleasant, clean and well-equipped unit. Spacious and near to train station. Can make use of the laundry and dryer at the block. The owner was gracious and kind to refund the over-payment city-tax.

It’s perfect as the kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location just off the main street. Clean and perfect for a couple. Really nice having laundry facilities in the building. Recommend!!!

The Meric Apartment was exactly as described and advertised and how other reviewers described it - great location close to the train location and center of town, set back by a street or so from the Bahnhofstrasse (main pedestrian street) so that you did not get all the noise, well-appointed kitchen, and very convenient to the main gondolas/ funiculars at Sunnegga, Furi (Mattherhorn), and Gornnergrot. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was the right size and had the proper utensils to be able to cook meals. The Hotel Bristol, which the apartment is connected to - 10 minute walk away, was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had and addressed those promptly. My wife also enjoyed the sauna facilities at the Hotel Bristol. The Meric Apartment is a ridiculously easy walk from/ to the Zermatt train station (3-5 minutes if going at a moderate pace), but the Hotel Bristol offers a shuttle service if needed. On our day of departure, it was pouring, so opted for the friendly and convenient shuttle service. Overall, great value for money in Zermatt and Switzerland in general (at least for the places we visited). Our family had a great stay at this location and would highly recommend it!

Great location about a 5 minute walk from the train and just off the Main Street of the village. 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms which was great for a family of four. Excellent amenities. Laundry in the building. This was a great base in Zermatt. We highly recommend.

Could use some shower soap and shampoo.
