Cozy Apartment close to Cornavin Train Station and lake

We were not informed about the change in security code for the key box. We tried calling the number as we could not open the key box with the code provided to us, only to find that they changed the pass code. This should have been informed in advance.

Location great from train and some real nice restaurants close by. Convenient for what we wanted

Didn’t somehow receive the communication of lockbox code change which caused stress until sorted.

This place is a SCAM. The owner/manager did not tell us any way to enter the building. Then they gave us an incorrect room number. We spent almost an hour outside on the street. I called the manager numerous times but nobody picked up. RUN AWAY and DO NOT BOOK. We eventually guessed which room was ours and essentially had to try a bunch of random room's key codes to get in. The manager never called back and we LEFT for a hotel down the street later that day.

The room itself was disgusting and unclean. Even something as simple as the kitchen chairs were broken and no WIFI code was given. There were stains everywhere and the room smelled badly. I highly recommend you RUN away from this very expensive booking. It is also notable that booking.com was absolutely useless in helping or refunding what this person stole from us. The room being crappy (which it is) is one thing, however leaving people out on the street for an hour without helping is completely unacceptable. When we (because even booking.com couldn't contact this guy) finally got in contact with this guy weeks later, he simply said "why didn't you call me?" as the reason for the chaos. I sent a screen shot of my many missed calls to his number and he never replied again. Booking.com can do NOTHING to help in this situation as well. I have never given a bad review for a stay at a hotel or rental. DO NOT BOOK

Great location. Good size apartment for solo or couple. Definitely just the basics. Nothing spectacular but nothing really bad. Could use some basic repairs but overall it was good enough for a place to sleep.

Was dated. Had some cosmetic issues.
