Alpenparadies

We loved the views, and were lucky to enjoy lots of new snow just in time for a white Christmas. The apartment was very well equipped with comfy beds and a nice selection of entertainment (games including cards and Uno as well as some drawing bits and pieces). As a family we especially enjoyed the toboggan hire and run at the nearby Niederhorn. This time round we didn't explore the abundant hiking trails nor the more modest skiing pistes but may do on a return trip. Overall solid 10/10 and hope to return again.

What a beautiful apartment! Clean, tidy, very complete. And then that view... Beautiful! We enjoyed everything here, if we ever come back to this area, we know where to find Alpenparadies!

Amazing views from the apartment. better than the pictures. Host was very accommodating to requests. Very easy to contact and fast response. Would stay again if in the area. Convenient location away from city and quiet.

The property is located high in Beatenberg with a view to the Swiss Allps just 15 min from Interlaken. The scenery on way down to interlaken looks like it was taken from a Walt Disney movie. The apartment has amazing view and it is very comfortable and equipped. It has a car garage and all the facilities you’ll need. The communication with the owner is very good.

easy to find locked box. Way to open was explained very clearly well before arrival. Two keys are provided. Parking space is free and under a roof. Maybe a bit harder to get into with bigger cars but far outweighs paying everyday for a public parking spot. Neighbourhoud is deliciously peaceful, the views are second to none. Appartment is virtually perfect with everything you could ever need to stay here.

The apartment is ideally located in a calm part of Beatenberg where you hear only cow bells and cicadas in the night. It was very clean (apart from the area below beds where our kids tend to play, but I imagine lots of people do not check the area - we were forced by our kids to notice the level of dust :), comfortable and very well-equipped (seriously, we did not miss one single item while cooking which is a miracle!). The views from the apartment are gorgeous. The communication with the hosts was very pleasant and smooth, we felt all our questions were answered. We will happily come again during the winter!

The key box opens/closes with some difficulties but it was manageable. We would welcome a proper recycling system in the village (it is 21st century and recycling is not that difficult) but it may be the question for the village authorities and not the hosts, we guess.

Fantastic view of the mountains and Lake Thun. It was quiet. The apartment was large with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well stocked. The apartment had everything you need. But the view was the best thing. A garage is available under the apartments. There are hiking trails nearby and a bus that can pick you up from your hike.

I wasn't aware that Beatenberg was up in the mountains. You have to drive up a mountain from Interlaken to get there. Be aware that to reach the apartment you will go up stairs to the side of the house and up another flight of stairs.
