The house and the location

This is a great apartment in the heard of the Lauterbrunnen valley. Be sure you get the detailed packet of information for how to find the property and get the keys from the lock box. Great, detailed instructions. It had a nice balcony which you could actually see one of the larger waterfalls from, amazing views. Easy parking for our rental car and was a short walk into town. This was a great location for launching all our hikes in the valley. We shopped at a COOP grocery store in the village and the kitchen was well equipped. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus also some sleeping space in the loft. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the unit, with soap provided, which was very helpful. There is no air conditioning in the unit, but fans were provided and even though we were there during very warm days, it did cool down nicely at night. It's a great apartment, do not hesitate to book it!

I love the location of the property. closer to town and trails.

We stayed in an apartment that held 6-7 people. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were more than adequate, although the wifi was not easy to use. The view out the windows was spectacular, however.

We booked this apartment for six people. One of the rooms (with queen bed) was fine. However, the other two rooms had double beds rather than the two twin beds described by the Booking.com listing. Since several of our people are not couples, we could not make this work. Two of my daughters slept on couches rather than on the beds, while I and my nephew slept in full beds by ourselves. I expected better conformance between Booking.com's description of the property and what we found. Additionally, the location was far from the center of Lauterbrunnen (and the train station). This was also not accurately described. It would have been very helpful to know that the property was in front of a bus stop (three stops from the train station) before we carried our luggage a mile on foot.
