Moderne einzigartige Wohnung in Altdorf

The space is exactly as it appears. Very clean and has all of the essentials though it did lack any salt in the kitchen. If you want to be close into the center of town this is a good spot and being on the second floor you are a little bit above and right under the ease gives you the option of having the windows open during a rain shower. You can do basic cooking and it even has an oven. No microwave. Good basic setup.

The only thing I did not like that the host could affect was that I was backpacking in and had no idea what time I would arrive. That said, when I did arrive The Host did not answer the phone and I sent out a text as well as email and contacted booking.com who was also unable to contact the host because I had been given no instructions on how to access the space. Eventually when those instructions did arrive as I had been sitting on the doorstep for 45 minutes, they were completely in German and I speak only English. There was no translation automatically through the communication service. What the host should do is recognize where the guest is from and have instructions they can paste so we know how to get in and have those instructions sent 24 hours ahead. The other aspects I did not care for are outside of their control, such as they're being a gathering and smoking area right outside the windows and the traffic noise which was substantial at times both late at night and early in the morning. The curtains are designed strictly for privacy yet the day I arrived you had exceptionally high temperatures in the sun had been pouring in all day long and the space was very hot and stuffy. it took a thunderstorm later on in the evening to start cooling things down. Many positives but just be aware if any of the negatives matter to you.

The location of the apartment is ideal and close to the center of the village. It is small but ideal for couples. kitchen facilities are perfect.

Such a cozy apartment, everything you needed was in there.

1. The host gave us a wrong address and when we called him for information he/she didn’t pick up. So we had to stay in cold and figure out that he didn't give us a wrong address. Please give a correct address to the guest or answer your phone if they contact you or don't bother renting a house. It's not fun to stay in the cold without any clue... 2. A kitchen without pans is a very useless thing. There was only one small old and damaged pan in the whole kitchen due to which you could latterly cook nothing there. If you don't have kitchen facilities, don't mention that the apartment has a kitchen. See the pictures. 3. One side of the apartment had big windows on the entire wall and there was no curtain on the windows. There was only a net on the windows which was completely see-though, Especially when you turn on the lights in the evening. So everyone could see inside which means no privacy. Also, in the night the light of the cars driving on street were coming inside the house due to the lack of curtains which made it quite hard sleep in the night. See the pictures. 4. If you're asked to provide WiFi credentials, don't give wrong credentials and respond to the guest when they ask you a question. Another guest from downstairs had exactly the same issue.
