STUDIO JOHN Interlaken

Location is great! Right in the center of the interlaken and very close to the train station. Studio is small but it had everything we needed. No air conditioning for those wanting to go in the summer.

Response time by management is very poor! Asked a question about laundry and it took hours for manager to respond on booking chat. I asked a follow up question right away, and never got a response. There is NO laundry in the building, although there is a laundry room at the end of the hallway… So I asked who that was for, and never got a response…

Location

Checkin was a pain. It was not absolutely clear that the PIN for entry to the property would be available in booking.com message. The contact for this property declined to support, also mentioning they are not sure why they have been set as contacts. They insisted we contact only booking.com so not sure why invalid/useless contact details were provided.

Very nice host! He met us at the trainstation in the middle of the night and gave us a ride to the facility when it was raining heavily. Mario is a very service minded host, we recommend this place if you are planning to stay in interlaken.

Nothing

Very convenient location. It’s got coop just downstairs, a pharmacy just across the street and many souvenir shops and food places just along the street as well. Train station and bus stops were not too far away either. There’s also a laundromat nearby too.

There was no washing machine or dryer machine. You had to walk down to the laundromat to wash your clothes if you wanted to. They also didn’t have any cooking oil or seasoning that we could use. So if you wanna cook you had to buy a whole bottle of it. Which wouldn’t have been worth it, unless you’re staying for a month or so.

Clean and well maintained studio apartment. Well furnished for all your stay needs. Good bed and bathroom facilities. Location was very good and convenient, few minutes walk to Interlaken West train station. Studio owner is a well mannered gentleman who was very helpful and polite, and would respond promptly to messages. Would highly recommend!

A little expensive.

The best part it was very near to interlaken west and just few minutes walk to Interlaken Ost . Very convenient and central location. Owner was kind to let us chk in early. And for coffee

Basic facilities were missing which we had to ask for. Eg. Cleaning of room, towels, TV was completely not working.No instructions about discarding trash And last day we were cutoff from wifi. Little disappointed.
