Jungfrau Penthouse - Aare Jungfrau AG

It is spacious for 2 families and convenient to access train (10mins decent walk) and bus (2-3mins walk to bus station). We enjoy the tranquility of Jungfrau Penthouse a lot. Kitchen is fully equipped. And Sofia and the team is very responsive to any questions we had. Appreciated.

Cleaning can be done even better. We had no issue overall until we had an issue with clothes dryer, we realised the filter was not cleaned and condensation water container was not emptied regularly.

The penthouse was very spacious, with comfortable beds,sofas and dining table.

We had everyday frustration with all the appliances. There were no instructions, when we asked for them we were told to go on line! All appliances are top of the line but difficult to operate. Having 4 children we needed to wash and cook every day. We only had 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person for a 6 day stay! When asked for more we were told that we had to pay!!! THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR A LUXURY APARTMENT! We also had to pay for a grill!

Too far from the city, but very private

Easy self checkin, nice location in the heart of Wilderswil. train station was 10-15 mins walks away.

One toilet didnt have locks/key so it was practically not usable.

The location and the size of the property was good for 2-3 families!!

The dish washer seems too old!

This spacious Apartment is well equipped, modern superb nice Swiss kitchen and complete utensils, dishwasher and cook wares.. Washer, Dryer were perfect. Staff Sofia was responsive to our queries. Parking on site.

Quality of pillows can be better.

We had a great stay! The space was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for families. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped—definitely a highlight! The location was quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the train station and a local supermarket. It’s a great choice for those who enjoy a quieter environment, and compared to Interlaken or Grindelwald, it offers great value for money.

The dryer would stop every 2-3 minutes and required restarting, though switching to another mode helped. Also, the bathroom didn’t provide body wash - only used shampoo bottles, which seemed to be left by the previous guest.

The flat is just terrific. It might be the nicest place I've stayed ever. Plenty of space for a large group, and honestly much more space than we needed as a family of five. It's pricey - we ended up booking it due to limited availability elsewhere - but overall it was absolutely worth it. Clean, comfortable space. Terrific views. Nice furniture and amenities. Wilderswil is a great place to stay - outside of touristy Interlaken, surrounded by mountains, and away from the crowds at some of the other destinations in the area. We thought it was the perfect middle ground. There's a bus running every 15 minutes that connects to Interlaken West, and a 10 minute walk to the train station for easy access to Interlaken Ost, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindelwald.
