The jacuzzi was not clean though charged for cleaning, and no functional leaving kids upset for the evening. That doesn't cost the price

Die Wohnung ist als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen mit Kindern ideal gelegen. Wir konnten gegen einen Aufpreis von CHF 20.00 das late Check-Out buchen (bis 11.00 Uhr). Zudem besteht ein schöner Ausblick auf die Berge. Ruhige Lage direkt neben Friedhof.

Durch das Bettsofa war der Platz im Wohnzimmer für 4 Personen relativ eng. Die Badezimmer- und Gäste-WC-Türen liessen sich nicht gut schliessen.

Ich habe den Pre-Check in morgens am Tag der Anreise (ein Sonntag) gemacht. Das war vermutlich zu spät, da ich den Zugangscode nicht automatisch bekommen habe. Nach einem kurzen und sehr freundlichen Anruf, hat alles prima geklappt.

Die Aussicht / Lage war top

Unangenehmer Geruch im Treppenhaus. Whirlpool funktionierte nicht / defekt.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet. In der Küche findet man alle Arten von Pfannen, Geschirr, Gratinformen in allen Grössen etc. Der Esstisch ist gross, sodass man bei Regenwetter auch zu viert Brettspiele machen kann. Das Sofa ist ebenfalls super bequem. Die Lage ist mitten im Dorf, die Aussicht aus den grossen Fenstern mehr als schön. Den Balkon konnten wir leider wettertechnisch nicht geniessen, aber auch hier: sehr einladend.

Allenfalls: Das WC ist sehr eng, aber da verbringt man ja auch nicht ewig Zeit...

The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge/dining area spacious and light, if the net curtains were drawn back. The location was convenient/central though see point below re noise.

The bath/shower/toilet all poor and in need of a refit. Bath fittings rusty and not clean. Toilet tiny, with a bizarre arrangement of two doors, one into bedroom and one to lounge. Party below in village square played very loud music until 2am on the Saturday night. Balcony only gets morning sun, not afternoon or evening. Lounge floor tiles badly cracked in many places. Toilet floor tiles had odd holes in them. Towels were grey and thin, only 1 large bath towel provided along with a smaller one for the second person. No heated towel rail to dry damp towels on a wet day. The washing machine is not in the apartment but on the ground floor, shared with other apartments. Not all of the photos are representative of the current appearance of the property eg the sinks in the bathroom are different. We were very disappointed and have no idea how the apartment merits a 'superb' score on booking.com, the one we left behind in Zermatt was just so much better every way. There were a lot of hidden costs compared with the advertised price, cleaning fee, service fee and guest tax on top, adds 20%. All apartments need cleaning, that should be part of the standard fee and this was not as clean as it should have been with grime along the floor/skirting board line, as well as the bath fittings.
