Location, view, size of the lodge, balcony, fireplace, it was very quiet, good internet connection, easy parking. On arrival, the owner heated the lodge with the fireplace for us.

It's difficult to set the right water temperature in the shower (it's either too hot or cold) and keep it stable. Some cleaning needed (e.g. sticky fridge, black spots in the bathroom sink). Bed not comfortable. Not enough lights. When leaving, we realised the fridge didn't work well and we had to throw away some food.

nice and remote, beautiful views, comfortable bed, lovely host who dropped off baked cheesecake for us one day!

it could get quite hot up in the mezzanine where the main bed is particularly if you were there later in the summer. it cooled down by the time we were going to bed at the end of November.
