The good: very clean and excellent location. Uber came quickly, there is a nail salon, a money exchange and a very small mini market within steps of entrance. Plenty of restaurants nearby including a Starbucks. Block away from beach. It is one full bath and a half bath. Owner’s son was very helpful with communication. Owner does not speak English. Helpful if we needed something. There is always someone at reception for safety. No washing machine but laundromat within building. The bad: pay at property means owner does not take cc or USD. Only one bedroom has AC. It’s not too bad at night as long as it’s breezy. I messaged the owner a week or so prior to arrival date confirming of the pool was open and what are the hours. (9-12, 2-6) when we arrived pool was closed on Tuesday for cleaning. If you’re a light sleeper, you can hear traffic in the morning. Pillows are fine, beds are firm. Fans everywhere. It is common there is no hot water for shower. The additional fee also will be paid in pesos on site.
