Apartamento Pintoresco Medellín

The host was great, always very keen to help. One time he came out, unrequested, after 11:00 pm to (happily) wipe down some chairs. Did my washing for free. All good. The view was great both day and night. A pleasant patio area to read or drink coffee. Two couches and a large table on which could work/do computer stuff. Two bedrooms. Secure - behind two locked metal doors. Security cameras. It was also good to be in a non-tourist part of town. The neighborhood shops nearby were a genuine example of Colombian life, unlike the semi-westernized display presentations of Poblado or Envigado.

The shower wasn't really up to it. Had to turn it down too almost a trickle for it to be hot enough. Only a minor inconvenience. You know, it is a bit of a hike to get to the Metro Cable. Best to walk once, then take one of the many busses. Once you are at the metro cable / cable car it is then the metro cable is almost as fast as a taxi to get to most places (because of bad traffic).

Very unique appqrtment with a great view over the city, close to the Cable Metro in a very friendly neighbourhood. Very clean and a very nice host Edwin, a great person helpful and so friendly. And Paquita the mascot!
