The apartment was spacious and had everything I needed plus more, hot water A/C, microwave, fridge, coffee machine. The only thing that was missing was a burner, which was given to me by the neighboring guest, no big deal! The owner was not there, but his uncle was and he was very friendly and chatty, helping me with anything I needed! I wish I could have stayed longer, the location is great if you need to use the airport (it's a bit of a walk if you are keen, otherwise you can get away with a ride for about 3,000-4,000 colones). I would undoubtedly stay here and for longer when I will be back to San Jose! Thanks for having me Rufino and Rolando! I'm looking forward to be back!!! Pura Vida!

It was a bit hard to find the place but if you look for Nappo Pizza on Google Maps, that's where it is. Once you are there, just give the guys a yell!

Clean spacious

The location is near a shanty town which is typical of San Jose. Their residential areas are not the same as ours. I would not recommend for solo female travellers. The wall appeared to be made of plywood so the noise was unbearable had no sleep all night. The host family were ok but the neighbours were playing music all night.
