The cabin is a hidden gem. At the end of the road - and the beginning of a small trail to see some waterfalls - right on the property! The cabin has everything you need, one can also cook. It is very cosy and spacious for 2 people. Some restaurants and supermarkets are also reachable in 15min. Perfectly located to explore the waterfalls in the area - and there are many. The road to reach La Presa is not paved and a bit bumpy - but driven slowly it is not a problem.

The natural setting

The A-frame cabin was very cute, it was small but good for the night we stayed there. No AC but the fan worked perfect to keep us cool. There’s a small kitchen, bathroom was small but functional. No hot water. The suspension bridge to get to the cabins was well built and a nice touch to feel disconnected and outdoorsy.

No hot water. Wouldn’t recommend drinking the water, it’s rainwater collected into a giant barrel and had a very funny smell and taste. Didn’t make us sick but bring your own water.

The property is hard to find as there is an unmarked turn required. There is also a narrow circular staircase you need to carry your luggage down and then back up.

It was amazing, we had direct access to the waterfall and the landscapes are breathtaking ! The road to access the house is a little hard but it is definitely worth it, we really enjoyed our stay. The host was really welcoming.

I think this is the best place in this valley. Even better than the blue falls, you shouldn't go anywhere from here, just take on some whatershoes, put your key in your neck, and walk out to enjoy the jungle and the waterfalls what surrounds you. You can swimm, or just walk in the water, too. The hanging bridge that leeds you to your accomodation, is awsome. You can see the different hights of the rainforest from here, I was standing there for long times, and walking up and down there for sometime. My favorite hanging bridge in the hole country.

Very nice place to stay. Very quiet and beautiful cascade but, A GREAT internet would be necessary. More to do to enjoy really well the place. Like the terraces a little table in the min salon… But I have to say I enjoy the advice and nice energy of the landlord. 🌸

Bigger blanket needed. The bed was not very comfortable. Good experience nonetheless.

The hosts were incredible. Super welcoming and even made us dinner even though their kitchen was closed. The location is quite remote - it's a little cabin in the woods. The nature around is amazing, with a walkway to an adorable and quiet waterfall. It's quite adventurous, as you need to walk through a small hanging bridge to the cabin. The hosts are planning to even expand more in the next times.

it would be expected, but it's quite remote, so the road to it is very bumpy and not paved (it's a short way from the main road though). And of course, must account for bugs, mosquitos, small spiders, as it's in the woods. It's quite quiet and nice though.

we would have liked to know before booking that there was a hanging bridge to get to the room. not particularly awesome to run that at night.
