Golden Cross // Typical old Quebec appartement

was a pleasure staying here . very clean and pleasent people .

unfortunately only 1 bathroom .

Location within easy reach of centre and very clean! If you have a car paid parking is available 2-3 mins walk away from the property (20 CAD per day)

Noisy bathroom fan (but you could turn it off)and curtain setup in one bedroom was a bit fragile

Location was good about a 20 minute walk to the walled city and a 10 minute walk from good restaurants

Clean, modern, well equipped apartment. Location midway between upper and lower Quebec City on street with funky restaurants and a few street away from St Jean area which seemed to have a local vibrant vibe. Quiet neighbours. Car parking lot opposite which we only used for a couple of hours as found free on street parking overnight ( 11 dollars) Lots of friendly messages from hosts and nice bottle of wine as welcome gift. Useful info pack in flat.

It wasn’t an issue for us but note that flat is up some q steep stairs. Quebec does require a degree of physical effort to get round anyway! The bedroom curtained off from the stairs is a bit odd arrangement. As a family we were Ok with it but maybe not for everyone.

Property manager was very responsive and when we asked for a bedside lamp he brought one right away. The place was very well equipped and comfortable.

Apartment was perfect and met all our needs.

It was a slightly longer walk to get into the heart of the city than I anticipated.
