Luxurious & Spacious Mountain Retreat

We love the location in a very safe complex in Canmore! You will get codes to everything the day before. The parking garage is safe and heated! Go straight to the condo with the codes provided. Everything is in the condo and in working order. There’s even a park pass. There were four of us and we were very comfy! I loved the communication with the host.

One toilet became plugged on the second day and wasn’t fixed by the time we left on Monday.

The condo/apartment was really nice! It was set up nice for our family of 5 for 4 nights in July 2024. It was appreciated that they had some stocked toilet paper, toweling and shampoo and conditioner and even some laundry detergent. They also had a Discovery Park pass for the National Parks which was another delight. They also had bear spray available to use as well. They had beach towels for the pool. The beds were VERY comfortable and king size. The pool was nice and had 2 hot tubs next to each other. It was refreshing to come back to each day. FYI-The room is in a building called BlackStone. Kind of felt like a hotel feel. They don’t have a breakfast nor any restaurants nor coffee. This apartment/condo also do not get the robes some guests have per other past reviews. We liked the location in Canmore and it wasn’t too big of a deal to do things in Banff and further. It seemed like a lot of lodging was available in Canmore that were bigger rooms for a family more than 4, that you could cook and have meals in. Banff seemed like more hotels and cost more.

Canmore is a beautiful location. The bedrooms were fairly spacious. The kitchen is well equipped.

The apartment is not spacious overall. It feels a bit cramped and quite dark. It's also an odd shape. The deck is squashed into a corner. Some of the lights did not work (the caretaker offered to fix them), the electric fireplace kept coming on by itself. There is a surplus dusty table on the deck. The water filter tray on the fridge has a white residue. It was OK but not great. Seemed a bit overpriced therefore.
