The location.

The place was seriously lacking in cleanliness. The light switches were covered in brown gunk, especially in high-traffic areas. The kitchen was a greasy mess and is stocked with things pervious guests left behind. Plus, there were still food bits stuck to some dishes. The kettle had residue in it. The owner tried to educate me on what tap water is like in Canmore but regular unboiled tap water didn't have flakes. But I looked past all of that and thought we'd suck it up. Then as we were preparing to shower and head to bed, we found that the many different mish-mash of towels were worn and felt like sandpaper. It was as if they were bringing in random used, unwanted towels from home to offer their guests. When we pulled them out, we discovered they were ALL rocking a variety of different hair types. This applies to every single towel we tried to use, including the spares. The same hairy situation applied to the fabric headboard in the master bedroom and the bedsheets. The toilet also had this dirty brown ring at the base and the bathtub was never cleaned. I finally decided to give the owner a call, and initially, they offered to clean things up but on the next day. I was being reasonable and said I'd pay for the first night and get a refund for the rest (dirty towels was the last straw). Our chat with the owner lasted a good 45 minutes and he refused. In the end, the owner's lack of cooperation forced me to pay for an extra night just to get out of there, setting me back $600 for just one night. We moved to the second bedroom, which only had a minor hair issue, but the bed was an uncomfortable, lumpy mess that sloped in towards the center. This place is one of those quick cash grabs with landlord paints jobs, hoping to make a buck from Airbnb rentals. Property owners like this are seriously giving Airbnb host a bad rap.

Very easy walk to shops but far enough off the main traffic areas. It was quiet and the condo was very roomy.

The only thing I can think of was that the toilets wobbled, the seals definitely need replacing.

Location pool and hot tub

Cleaners did a terrible job. Dust everywhere and sticky substance under the dining table. TV was hard to operate. Fireplace remote had dead battery. Could not turn fire flame up so it looked like 2 tealights. Advertised as no pets...but there were dogs in numerous suites. Staff at the desk not friendly at all. There was salt but no pepper No smoking on balcony but others were. Told on day of arrival there would be no Bbq or furniture on balcony. Originally gave wrong address stated 170 instead of 107 and washer would not spin

Excellent location in Canmore. We were able to walk everywhere in town. Easy access to highway. Free underground parking. Loved the included pass!!

felt very homey and owner answered questions very quickly

The property had plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped for us to prepare some of our meals. The facility was within walking distance of restaurants and stores.

The bedrooms were a bit warm, though the living room had a supplemental air conditioner that kept the room cool.

location is perfect not in the hustle of town and walking distance to restaurants was perfect! views were amazing and the hot tub very enjoyable!

dirty bbq-could be cleaned properly before guests come in. Air fryer could be a nice investment😀
