Here's the EngThe house is located in a very interesting position, on a hill! My family and I love the tranquility and living in a natural environment, so we had a delightful experience. It is definitely not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Here's thLike all old wooden houses, sound transfers to the other floors, which is completely normal. However, it made me uncomfortable, thinking that my child's noise might disturb the owner.

- La maison est sale et non entretenue. Ex. les murs sont brisés, les poles à serviette tiennent difficilement, une fenêtre dans une chambre ne ferme plus. - Une odeur de moisissure est présente dans la maison. Il y a des tapis dans pratiquement chaque pièce qui sont attrocement sales et pus. - La maison n'est pas du tout insonorisée. Il y a des locataires qui vivent au dessus de la maison et font un vacarme jusqu'à TRÈS tard le soir. Nous entendons tout ce qu'ils font.

Very nice property. Everything is perfect EXCEPT for their ridiculous extra fees that I overlooked when i checked out the place and the broken patio door.

They have a shattered patio door window for months (someone has already mentioned it in a review and posted a photo) and somehow the owners just TAPED it. It's actually incredible that these people charge as much money as they do (it's a nice property, tbf) but don't bother to fix something so major. One piece of the glass is missing now too so there is a cold draft. The door was not locked at one point during my stay when it started to storm, and the door actually flew open. Very unsafe. If you have kids or elderly people do not stay here. At least until they get it repaired! Watch out for hidden fees!

The location which is close to the shore is wonderful. The convenience for reaching the Sea to Sky highway is great. Two bedrooms were both decent size. One is an ensuite. The other bathroom you must walk past the front entry to reach - bring a robe. This was a large space and for 4 of us, there was plenty of room. The host lives on-site. When there is an issue, it was very easy to request assistance. He responded well to questions - 1) how to turn on the heat. Plenty of hot water.

The house is on a hill. This would not be a property for anyone with mobility issues. You must climb a hill to reach the house. The steps outside were a little overgrown making them hard to use. The parking spot for guests was so tight that two of us had to get out of the car before we could pull into parking. There are stairs inside and moving luggage in and out was difficult. There are 3 doors which exit to decks. There were several rotten spots on the decks and none of the deck doors had locks on them. Felt a little insecure even though they were on the 2nd floor. When asked about using the fireplace seen in the pictures, the host had not had it checked and brought up to usable status so we opted to not use it. Also when asking about turning on the heat, he did show us how to turn the central heat on but since he had not had the fireplace serviced, we turned off the central heat and chose to use the two split electric units to heat the house. The lamps sitting on the dining table in the kitchen and the two items plugged into the outlets under the bar were hazardous. Someone walking by could easily have snagged the cord and pulled either the lamp off or the hot water pot off (burn hazard). Just a few housekeeping items would make this a more desirable place to stay.

The geographic location is excellent, just a few mins from horseshoe bay and it’s convenient going to Squamish. The kitchen is well-equipped. Good to have 2 ovens (upper and lower deck). Quick to cook family dinner. A Safeway is just a few km away. The landlord is very fast to respond to our needs.

Everything is good except better provide instructions on trash re-cycling.
