Place is clean and comfortable

Clean ensuite, easy self-check in & location

The place was quite noisy, likely due to other guests/neighbours in the same building, and I was unable to sleep properly. I also experienced recurring cracking and creaking noises throughout the night. I am unsure whether this was due to the building’s age or insufficient sound insulation, but it significantly affected my ability to rest. The room had an unpleasant smell, possibly from cleaning products or a similar source. I also did not notice any visible fire alarm on the premises, which I consider an important safety concern. In addition, I did not feel comfortable receiving messages from the host that pushed for a particular overall experience rating.

It was frigid in there with just a small portable heater that took hours to warm up

ZERO!!!

We arrived 40 minutes after check-in time & the cleaner was still there cleaning the room & just fixing the bed! It was freezing cold & the wall electric board heaters were not working. There was a portable space heater that was not even on to warm up the unit. This was definitely not acceptable let alone not safe as No Space heaters should be the form of heat, it's against the Ontario Safety regulations for rental property. For 3 days straight I was communicating with Booking.com & I still have not recieved my refund. We ended up not staying there once we returned from our event as it was absolutely freezing! This has been the worse experience ever with a booking company and accommodations.
