Sweet retreat 2-BR Apartment in Mackenzie

The apartment is 15 minutes away from either the beach near Marina or the Mackenzie beach. We liked that there were two separate bedrooms and also a living room. A/C units were present in all three rooms. The kitchen seemed well equipped, but beyond using the stove for making morning coffee, the kitchen was not used.

Related to the apartment itself we did not like: - the apartment was dusty when we arrived. - the annoying noise made by the A/C unit in the big bedroom for 15-20 mins after turning it on. After 20 mins the noise would go away - the bathroom sink's tap/faucet that splashed water everywhere - the lack of a vacuum cleaner - one bedroom window that did not shut properly and thus allowed outside noise to bother any sleep. Related to neighbourhood: - there's a noisy construction site across the street and workers start qyite early to avoid the heat during the day. - at the same floor in the next building there is a man whose favourite thing to do (apparently) is sitting on his balcony and staring at the bedroom, kitcen and the balcony of the rented apartment. Sure there are blinds, but one must choose between having natural light and feeling part of a reality show .

Great location, very spacious

The shower tray could do with the seal being renewed but other than that everything was lovely
