VILLA TAEGERMOOS

The property is understaffed, except for breakfast in the morning…the rooms were elegantly appointed, although they lost their charm when we kept hitting our heads on the low beams all over the room.

we didn’t like having to walk to a different building on the property, a quarter of a mile away with a road that was blocked off because they were tearing it up for construction, every time we needed anything like a fan in the roasting hot room or ice or breakfast. we also discovered a filthy vent in the bathroom.

As absurd as it may sound for a hotel in Switzerland, the owner had forgotten about our reservation! Even though we had explicitly informed him about our arrival time! Upon our arrival, the building was completely dark, like a haunted house! We waited a long time to be accommodated in our room. VILLA TAEGERMOOS is literally on the border between Germany and Switzerland. But it is still in Switzerland. As citizens of the European Union, we were checked for a long time to get to the hotel.....

Location and all the hotel service provided. The stuff were very helpful and kind the drinks were amazing. Beds are good and clean. Garden nice looking.

its pretty loud at the day time and due to the near farms there might be a flies if you leave the window open. Ventilation in kitchen is bad.

The rooms were great,I love the calm and the atmosphere!!

-It was clean -Parking availability

-There was no daily cleaning, which means if you stay longer then 1 day your room does not get cleaned for the next evening. -The trash was not collected at all from our room during our entire stay of 3 days. -No air conditioning, so if you open your windows to get clean air the room gets filled with flies. -Coffee was not provided comsidering the days you are booked for. -There could be at least 2 bottles of water supplied as accommodation upon your arrival. -There are 2 seperate buildings and there are no signs of which direction to go to find the reception or the building you are assigned to. -The property is in the middle of nowhere, at least 15 minutes walking distance from city. -There were no towel-slippers provided, so must walk bare-footed in the room on not very clean floors.

Very vomfortable bed, the shower water is hot with good pressure (very much needed after long konstanz days). We also found that the parking is very easy and right at the Hotel. Very Private as there is nearly no one around , and the hotel is a right after the border. The area has nothing to do if you will move by foot, perfect if you have a car.

As said, the area has nothing to do if you plan to walk less than 15 mins. Even though the place has in the booking 50CHF reserved for cleaning, we found that nearly all the corners could have had a sweeping before hand. And ! And the toilet should have been actually cleaned !
