Cozy mountain apartment in Platres

Lovely, cosy and very clean apartment. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was nicely designed and decorated. It is in the centre of Pano Platres, just above the Starlight restaurant. Would highly recommend.

The Cosy Mountain Apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It offers a stunning view of the mountains and is perfectly located—Pano Platres is an ideal base for exploring the Troodos region. The apartment is situated right next to a vibrant and lively restaurant, as well as the starting point of the Milomeris Waterfall hiking trail. It’s also just a few meters away from one of the village’s few parking areas, which was very convenient. We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We highly recommend this place!

The mattress could be more comfortable.

The property was in a great location near restaurants, parking and the town centre. The property was comfortable and the host was always available for answer questions and help out

Liked: The location was great – peaceful, with fresh mountain air and a pleasant coolness. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the place – cozy and authentic. Disliked: Unfortunately, the indoor air was heavily affected by the fireplace smoke – the entire room, including the furniture, was filled with the smell, which made it necessary to ventilate constantly to avoid headaches. Also, there was no sound insulation at all – noises from the upper floor were even louder downstairs, and the wooden floors creaked very loudly.

It was cold on the 1st evening, although at our arrival, the air-conditioning units were started by the owner. But later we'd to restart them and then they worked well.

The host was very friendly and helpful, guiding us over the phone, which made everything go smoothly. The apartment is located in the same yard as the Skylight restaurant, which was very convenient. It is fully equipped with all kitchen appliances and even has a fireplace.

There is no central heating, and since we were traveling in February, the apartment was quite cold. However, each room has an air conditioner, which helped us warm it up. If you're traveling with kids in winter, be prepared for the cooler temperatures.
