Margarita Gardens - Self Service Apartments

BEWARE!!! The pictures of the white apartments around the pool in the photos are NOT the property you are booking. The apartment block in the pictures are not owned or managed by this agent. The apartments you actually get is across the parking lot/access road from the gated pool in the pictures. The apartment you actually get is in a unsightly building above a restaurant and some unkept commercial spaces. Access to the apartment you actually get is behind the commercial stores and restaurant and is untidy with some closed/rundown commercial spaces and does not induce the holiday feeling. It is pretty depressing to look at. Guests have access to the pool you see in the pictures. The air conditioning in our room had mould on it. The bathroom ceiling paint is damp and flaking off. The balcony and main room in apartment 103 has a view of large ugly airconditioning pipes from the restaurant below as your "street view". The pictures advertised are all deceiving. The balcony walls were dirty and needed a good clean and paint. The balcony furniture is basic and different to the pictures. And there are dusty old plastic plants in the flat. The pictures advertised were taken many years ago and in reality the apartment is looking tired and in desperate need of upkeep. Imagine my disappointment when we arrived - i tried to get a refund from the property manager for the remaining nights as the property is falsely advertising the reality by omitting the actual block of flats you're renting or any of the downgraded changes from the original pictures and he flatly refused saying it was my fault that i assumed that the 4 pictures he advertises showing the white apartments around the pool (that he doesn't own) were the property complex we would be staying in!?! I have reported this letting to booking.

The apartment was in perfect location, only took 10 minutes to walk to the sea front where there are lots of restaurants. The apartment was lovely and clean, we arrived to a hamper and bottled water. All facilities worked in the apartment and the owner was on hand if you had any questions which was great!

The beds weren’t that comfortable but was okay as we were there for only 5 nights. Swimming pool was sufficient however the sun loungers could be replaced.

Comfy apartment, rooms are spacy, pool is nice, location is good.

Above a restaurant so we would smell and see smoke almost every time we walk outside.

The location was great! The kids enjoyed the pool at all hours.

The kitchen had a weird smell that we couldn't escape. The staff was available by whatsapp if necessary and were helpful when needed but weren't around for little things like more toilet paper or to direct us. The shower flooded the bathroom everytime.
