Poseidon 51 - Beachfront Two Bedroom Apartment

The apartment is located in a very central area of Paphos, with everything nearby – supermarkets, restaurants, and shops. The sea view from the huge terrace is absolutely stunning and truly the highlight of this place. However, the apartment has several downsides that made our stay less comfortable. There is a very strong smell coming from the restaurants below (there are about six or seven of them around the building), and since the entrance opens to an inner courtyard, the odors also come up inside. The terrace is lovely but unfortunately the outdoor furniture is in poor condition — only two of the four chairs were usable, and there was no shade at all, not even a parasol. The kitchen equipment really needs improvement. The non-stick pan was completely scratched and unusable, and there was only one pot available for cooking. The water pressure in the apartment is extremely weak — it was difficult even to wash hair, and flushing the toilet properly was impossible without pouring a bucket of water manually. I reported this issue to the owner, but unfortunately there was no reply. The apartment is advertised for five people, but in my opinion it’s comfortable for a maximum of four. There is also a lack of storage space — for example, no bedside tables near the beds to keep personal items. Overall, it’s suitable for sleeping and has a fantastic view, but the equipment and maintenance definitely need improvement. With some updates and better upkeep, this place could easily become a great apartment.
