Staying at this Sandra and David's house was an unforgettable experience! Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail making us feel right at home from the very first moment. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It’s rare to find someone who truly goes above and beyond, but our host absolutely did.Our stay with Sandra, David, and little Louis was far more than just accommodation ,it felt like being welcomed into a family. Each evening, we found ourselves looking forward to the warm, heartfelt conversations that made us feel truly connected. Sandra’s kindness, David’s warmth, and Louis’ sweet, joyful spirit touched our hearts in a way we’ll never forget. We’re leaving with beautiful memories and a deep sense of gratitude. Thank you for opening your home  and your hearts to us. We’ll always carry a piece of this time with us.And as for Beatenberg words can hardly do it justice. This magical village, perched above Lake Thun, offers some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. Surrounded by majestic mountains and lush green landscapes, it’s a peaceful paradise that feels like a hidden gem in the Swiss Alps. Whether you're hiking, relaxing, or simply taking in the scenery, Beatenberg is truly a place that must be seen at least once in a lifetime. I left a piece of my heart there, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended both the host and this incredible location deserve more than five stars!

Views, views , views. Just amazing. Good and helpful host.. Very quiet and I will definitely recommend it.

It would be good to have a microwave, a mirror and fan when the temperature is more than 20 degrees. A very small addition but will go a long way for the tourists making the accommodation a perfect one.

The hosts are very friendly and helping. The location was great, excellent views, 15 minutes drive to Interlaken.

It had everything we need. The little extras went a long way. Sandra left out shampoo and soap aswell as some essentials in the kitchen. The view was absolutely beautiful, we loved every minute

Check in is a little late, only 5pm. We got up super early to fly to Switzerland. Would have been nice to go straight to the accommodation to settle in with the kids

A dream mini vacation. It snowed the night before we arrived and then the whole vacation was clear. The view is gorgeous and we couldn't get enough of looking at those mountains. Interlaken was under the fog but we were up there and had only sun. Sandra, David and their son Luis made us feel at home and made sure Santa Claus found us and brought us presents. I've been to many places but this one is at the top of the list as the most beautiful.

First of all Beatenberg is a very nice area with amazing mountain view directly from your windows and terrace. It's really breathless both when the sky is clean and you see the mountain peaks (including the famous Jungfrau!) and when the clouds surround you and you see anything further than 5 meters away! :) Not to make others worried: it happens only once during our stay and was gone very quickly :) The apartment is super clean, light, cosy and spacy enough! The kitchen is fully equipped and even more than 'fully'. We could not find anything we missed and even the tools/tableware for fondu is there for 'fondu' funs. Even though it's an apartment on the ground floor and the host lives just above you, it makes you feel like you live in your own house on the mountain hill and your have your own entry door and nice terrasse with table and chairs. There are no real supermarkets nearby but there is a local shop just 300 meters away from the apartment where you can always buy local eggs, butter and cheese! The bus stop is located less than 2 min walk from the apartment and the bus to Interlaken pass at least once per hour, so in case you prefer to leave the car and travel by public transport - it's very simple and Interlaken station is around 10 min away by car/bus if no traffic. The host deserves really special award. So friendly but very respectful at the same time. Their love for their home and garden is just amazing and their life concept is probably the most appropriate. Sandra, David, you made our stay unforgettable and will surely return once we have an occasion! Thank you for everything!! :)
