Great little apartment in the historical neighborhood of Geneve. Very convenient connections to the train station and the airport. The place was clean, well furnished and had anything we needed.

Location, Location Location. What is the secret of the 59 steps? a nice place to stay (weather was in low 40's). Plenty of light in the main room. Lots of closet space - distributed. A larger and more modern flat panel TV would have been nice, but we did not go to Geneva to watch TV. The Pizza place by the front door was good. There is a Barber shop and a tea shop within 30 steps of the front door. Up the hill are a number of palaces to dine. At the top of the hill takes you to a promenade that over looks the University of Geneva. It is a 12 minute walk to the Patek Museum and a 5 minute walk to high end shopping street.

No adapter plugs in the apartment. French and North American/Japanese plugs will not fit sockets. Solution is to go to Interdiscount on Rue de la Croix-d'Or (nr Victorinox) (7 min walk) and spend 8F each. Not all phone adapters will fit. Add a French adapter and it will work. Add a sheet with handy information about the area. No history about the building. Chairs too big for room.

excellent location close to everything.

only thing to note is the fifth floor and windy stairs which keeps you fit and are a struggle for luggage. Good sound proofing with windows closed.
