A home away from home, with a breathtaking view. The very generous host thought of so many details to make the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

The mattresses are sagging and lack back support. There is no WiFi available for guests.

Very cluttered, which is difficult when trying to store your own stuff

The location was fantastic. The place had a great atmosphere was very comfortable with a beautiful garden and views! The host was very friendly and communicative. It was very well stocked with more than I expected for cooking!

The house is old and quite noisy, we had to buy ear plugs after the first night.

Great location

It’s a very lovely chalet perched on the hillside of Engstligental valley. The pretty garden has a terrific view of pastures and farm houses down in the valley and the mountains and waterfalls across the valley. It’s beautiful and tranquil. The Japanese maple adds to it the feel of Zen. The interior is clean, cozy and homy. It has all the amenities that most travelers will need. Marianne, the hostess, is very warm, receptive and generous. There are coffee maker, soft drinks and even beers. If you look into the details, You’ll feel her efforts and tender loving care put into the house. It’ll surely be one of my most memorable stays while traveling around the world.
