A beautiful apartment with lots of space, including 2 balconies, in a great location. Lovely decor and well equipped kitchen. Excellent contact with hosts, detailed instructions, fast response. Walking distance to a few wonderful restaurants and coffee shops as well as city transport. Easy to get anywhere. Fun place to be based. Conducive to international online work.

Three flights of stairs with no elevator. We were in Basel for medical reasons and were surprised we had to carry our heavy bags up the stairs. This is of course no reflection on the host. We had problems with wifi and drainage but host fixed both issues in a very efficient and expedient manner.

Quiet place, yet very central. Lovely apartment, comfortable bed, large living room and fullt equipped kitchen.

No draw-backs

In short, everything about the apartment makes you feel like you are in Basel and makes you love this city. The guests, not met in person, but always present with their instructions left at home and by email, the promptness in responding to the chat on Booking but above all the niceness of the Basel Cards (free transport and half-price museum entrances) and the welcome samples of typical Basel sweets. The apartment furnished with taste and eclecticism, makes you immediately breathe the love for the art and culture of the city. Equipped with everything: comfortable beds, clean and soft linen, spaces to work, fully equipped kitchen. On the third floor with a wooden spiral staircase a little noisy but it is easy to do. The location is also a strong point, in a quiet neighborhood, close to tram and bus stops and weather, close to the Rhine if you want to take a walk or try crossing with a suspended boat, 15 minutes walk from the Kunstmuseum (historic center) and the Tinguely Museum (new area). Really a great choice!

The property is at third floor without the lift. The stairs are very loudly.

Amazing apartment, spacious and well furnished, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very nice and provided detailed information for the apartment and Basel. Already booked it for my next stay in the city :)

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the apartment block and area for a large city are amazingly quiet. 5 min walking distance from a main train hub that can take you anywhere in the city and 7 min walk away from the Rhine River. Nearest Super market is also about 5 min walking away. All in all we had an amazing time in Basel and the apartment was perfect for our needs.

Though it said the apartment had parking, they are relying on street parking, which will cost 20 Fr a day. You will need to be fit, as you will have to carry your bags up to the 3rd floor up a narrow staircase.

Location was great. Fans were nice.

I don't think we knew about the stairs and no ac but it was managable.
