Haus Zer Weidu

Super close to everything in town. The best bang for your buck you’re going to fine in Zermatt. Stayed for new years and will definitely be coming back!

This is the most luxurious room I have ever had for this money. The room has underfloor heating in some places, and the room is so warm that you have to open the windows to cool down a bit. The goose down blankets and pillows add even more coziness and comfort. In the room everything is thought out to the smallest detail, well done. Besides is located in the center of Zermatt near the station, stores, restaurants ... I will definitely come back here...

The location was a 5 minute walk to the train station which made getting to the house with luggage very easy and quick! There was also a lift in the house and a ski locker for my rented snowboard gear, so I didn’t have to take everything up and down the lift or stairs. The rental was also very clean and the bathroom floors were heated.

Lovely location, surrounded by mountains with such a stunning view. Everything you need in a house is in the studio. Owner super responsive and communicative. Enjoyed so much having coffee on the balcony facing the mountains in front of us. It was dreamy to see Zermatt covered in snow when we woke up! The big panoramic window made our mornings memorable.

This was the perfect place to stay for a solo traveller. It was a 5-min walk to the main station, the Gornergrat railway terminal and the supermarket, but was very quiet and peaceful at night. The walk to the cable car up to Furi / Schwarzee / Trockener Steg and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise was an easy 20-min walk through the lovely main street. The studio was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed to cook some meals myself. Check-in was easy. I particularly loved the balcony; it was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. I'd definitely stay again. It was great value for money. Thank you Haus zer Weidu and team.

There was nothing wrong with the property. There was quite a lot of building construction going on nearby, but as I was out hiking most of the day it didn't really affect me. There was still some noise late afternoon but I didn't mind too much, and it's not Haus zer Weidu's fault.

Prepared own food. Well supplied kitchen.. very close to supermarket and train station.

Difficult to contact host because we didn't have phone with local reception.
