City Apartment - close to town - by PA

it is in a great location. not hard to get to and it was quiet

need a TV in the main bedroom have step stool and safety handles to grab to get in and out of the tub have 4 cups/glasses only had one small coffee mug no adapter to use plugs. offer atleast one not one sharp knife to cut for cooking add hooks in the bath for towels

The apartment is a 5 minutes' walk from the city center. It has 2 bedrooms and is rather well adapted for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids.

One of the bedrooms overlooks a noisy street and the soundproofing is not great. It's big enough for a family of 4 but not as big as advertised. The description mentions it's 90 m², but it's far from that, probably closer to 60 m². We were 2 adults and 2 kids and we stayed 4 nights. On the day before we left, the landlord sent a message asking to leave 64 CHF in cash for the "tourist city tax" (all communication with the landlord was done through whatsapp, we never met in person): 4 CHF per night per person. I asked about kids and they confirmed that kids should pay. Before leaving the city, I asked a few questions at the Tourist Information office located at the train station and I was told that: - Kids below 12 shouldn't pay the tax. - The amount should have been 3.30 CHF per night per person. - We should have received a Lucerne Visitor Card: free use of public transports in the city, discounts for cableways... The landlord sent a message to apologize and suggested we go back to the apartment to be reimbursed for kids: it was however too late for us as we had already left the city.

Good location to visit Lucerne. Good host.

Parking is quite expensive.

Although I mentioned the host couple of times I need an invoice, it was never sent. The host does not reaply neither pick up the phone while I am calling to sort it

inaccurate representation. only one toilet when advertised as having two.

Everything was available at the accommodation, location is amazing … Good restaurants, grocery shops, barber shop and all other which is required are nearby, all the public transport is on few steps, railway station is easily reachable.. the transportation system overall is remarkable, recommended for family and group of friends! Communication/ checkin is via mobile, very easy and smooth steps to follow!

The location was great and the apartment was spacious.

Some of the furniture/kitchen utensils showed wear and tear, but it was very useable.
