Exclusive Central Apartment

Die Unterkunft hat alles, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht, und unsere Gastgeberin Loredana hat uns super lieb empfangen und unterstützt.

The location was really convenient, the host was very welcoming and offered us excellent advice on getting around Basel and what sights to see. The apartment itself was clean, modern and well appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

Lack of air conditioning, although we did have fans available which helped a great deal. Unfortunately Europe was under a heatwave during our visit. But the problem was dealt with by the fans.

Very convenient location and host was so helpful - parking onsite was great as we left the car and travelled everywhere by tram with passes sorted out by our host

Our host, Loredana, met us at the apartment as arranged beforehand via booking.com messaging--precisely on time. She gave us a tour of the apartment and explained how everything worked. She took time to show us on a map using colored markers how to get to and use the local tram service. Very helpful! She texted later that evening to make sure all was to our satisfaction and that the heat level was to our liking. She arranged taxi's for us as needed. The trams in the neighborhood can get you all around Basel. The free Basel visitor cards covered all our use of public transit. Her apartment is furnished very comfortably and is decorated well. We had everything we needed in the apartment, including the kitchen, for our stay. This is an "All 10s" rental. Our new home in Basel when visiting there from from where we live elsewhere in Switzerland.

Location was perfect! Loredana was easy to communicate with, very accessible and helpful. She was waiting for us when we arrived, and came over to collect the keys when we left. She was a pleasure to deal with.

The apartment is well located, super clean, and Loredana was incredibly responsive and helpful. It's worth noting that there is no a/c in the apartment (there were several fans though) but it sounds like that is how it is in Switzerland, unless you go to a hotel. So if it's midsummer and hot... well, it'll be hot in the apartment too. The only other thing that we didn't love (and this one is personal preference) is that the beds were not as comfy and we would have liked. But again, Loredana was super responsive when we wanted extra pillows and brought them over right away. And bed preference can vary from one person to another.
