The apartment was situated in Territet , a quiet area of Montreux .It was very clean & had all the amenities you would require. Would return in a heart beat.

Nothing ,everything was perfect

It is a lovely decorated apartment in a suburb of Montreux. We loved the proximity to the lake, calmness, possibility to go on long walks along the lake promenade, a playground for the kid, and an ice cream shop at the door step. There is also a parking place in front of the house where you can stay for about 5 hrs at a time. The train station is on the other side of the house, but it didn't bother us at all. The apartment is fully equipped to eat in (pans, pots, dishes, glasses etc) and comes with a modern washing machine and a drying rack in the shower. The manager told us that we could also order a delivery, but we didn't try it. There are three big supermarkets in Montreux in just 15 min walking along the stunning scenery. The treinstation makes it super easy to explore neighboring towns, such as Vevey, and the funicular on the other side of the train station will bring you up the hill to the train all the way to Rochers de Naya.

There were issues with the cleaning before our arrival, but it was quickly resolved, and we even got a surprise from the manager to compensate for the issue. Note that the apartment doesn't have a dishwasher. Something that can be considered both plus and minus is a restaurant on the ground floor that is open every day until 23h and serves meals on it large terrace. It is quite lively and attracts many families with kids who can play at the nearby playground. I was surprised that almost every night, there were kids playing all the way until the closing time. The restaurant will also regularly bring bottles to throw away in a container right under your window. Can be at any time during open hours and when they are cleaning for the night.
