Beach Block - View to Atlantic

I recently stayed at Sheila’s apartment in Copacabana (Beach Block – View to Atlantic), and it was a genuinely wonderful experience. The apartment has a lovely combination of modern comfort and period charm, you can feel the building’s history, yet everything inside is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully updated. It’s bright, well-laid out, and beautifully kept, with that perfect balance between elegance and ease. The view of the Atlantic from the 7th floor is unforgettable, and the beach is literally a few steps away. What also surprised me was how self-contained the building is, there are bars, cafés, restaurants, and even ice cream shops right below, so you can easily spend the whole day enjoying yourself without ever needing to leave the block. Inside, everything worked perfectly: good air-conditioning, a proper kitchen, two spotless bathrooms, and comfortable beds. It was clear that great care goes into both the presentation and upkeep of the space. And then there’s Sheila, truly one of the best hosts I’ve met. She was attentive, kind, and quick to respond, but also gave complete privacy. Her local tips were spot-on, and she has that rare gift of making guests feel both at home and looked after. If I’m being fussy, you do hear a little of Copacabana’s energy at night, but honestly, that’s part of its magic. You’re right in the heart of it, safe, vibrant, and full of life. In short: a gem of an apartment, a fantastic host, and a stay that exceeded expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

A gente amou a estadia! A nossa estadia no apartamento da Sheila foi simplesmente tri boa, ela foi super atenciosa e querida. O apartamento é lindo, bem iluminado, confortável e pertinho da praia. Antes de chegar, a gente tinha visto um comentário negativo e ficou meio com o pé atrás, mas o que encontramos foi totalmente diferente. Tudo limpinho, organizado e exatamente como nas fotos. Fica no coração de Copacabana, então tem aquele barulhinho típico da cidade, mas nada que incomode. A localização é sensacional cheia de bares e restaurantes por perto (a gente curtiu muito o Belmonte e o The Galeto). Tem mercado, metrô e tudo o que precisar a poucos minutos. Os porteiros, que estão lá 24 horas, foram muito gente boa, e a gente se sentiu super seguro o tempo todo. Sério, deu vontade de ficar mais! Com certeza vamos voltar logo.

Tem avaliação anterior que não condizia com a realidade. Avaliação mentirosa, pois o apartamento é todo novinho e com boa infraestrutura.

Die Eingangstür war eine Metallgartentür mit Glas, aber ohne Farbe. Das Sofa war unbenutzbar, da durchgebrochen. Der TV-Apparat war verrottet wie die daneben stehende Truhe auch. Die Fenster boten nur einen Regenschutz und waren nicht dicht verschließbar, es zog und der Straßenlärm kam in voller Stärke in die Räume. Die Bäder waren auf dem technischen Stand von ca. 1940, die Türen der Bäder konnte man nicht schliessen. Ohne Komplettsanierung sollte dieses Appartement nicht mehr vermietet werden. Ich werde bei Booking.com nichts mehr buchen.

La ubicación es excelente . El departamento cómodo y amplio. La anfitriona muy atenta.

Se escuchan muchos los ruidos molestos de la calle. Las ventanas se mueven y hacen ruido.

La ubicación es excelente a media cuadra de la playa, es muy amplio y cómodo.

Todo estuvo muy bien. Creo que sería mejor si renovaran las ventanas, vibran mucho y no aíslan el ruido de la calle.
