The host was very welcoming

The host Agueda was really helpful with finding someone to fish, cooked for us the fish and it was really delicious The house is like in the pictures, good wifi , very central.

Very close to center of the city and natural park, yet out of the main street. We had two bedroom house with a garden just for ourselves.

It can get noisy late or very early. But it wasn't much of an issue.

Very friendly team. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived at the harbour, where we were picked up to show us the way to the house. Location is perfect, walking distance to everything

The room was very basic. It might fit to local building style (no window, no mosquito net, no airco, no hot water) and great value for money for backpackers, but with young (spoiled :-)) kids it did lack some minimum standards. The room smelled, but that might come from the heavy rain over the last days

The location is good, in town, near to everything. The kitchen was reasonable equiped and useful. The host is friendly and helpful. She lives next door, so easy to find if you need to ask something. I had a geko in my room :) .

The place is not extremely easy to find (it looks like a regular house) . There is no outside sign, so you may need to ask around to find it. As in many places in the caribean, the windows have no glass, but just a mosquito net. There is a fan that works well and help to fight the heat.

It was in Tortuguero pueblo - close to many restaurants, nature reserve and coastline. Owners lived next door and were helpful , for example with collecting on arrival.

It was very basic accommodation - for example there was nowhere to hang anything, only frying pan to boil water in the kitchen, very noisy as the windows were unglazed.

The location was great! Johanna who checked us in was so sweet and helpful. She helped us book a tour and was available for help anytime. It was nice having a full kitchen and the place was spacious. Wi-Fi was strong as well.

The only tiny issue was with payment. I thought I could pay through bookings but learned it had to be paid cash or through palpal. The only reason this was an issue was because my PayPal was giving me some issues and I didn’t have enough cash. We got it figured out but it would be helpful if it was listed that these are the two payment options.

Friendly host who picked us up from the harbour. Late check out hour available. All in line with the Offer, in the neibourhood isolated from the touristic center but more habited by locals. 5 min walk to the beach and main Dock, 1 min to National Park entrancEverything very clean apart from the inside of the fridge. Internet works perfectly. Host offered much cheaper tours.

Interior of the fridge could be cleaned. We booked 2 bedroom apartment while only one bedroom was available for us. We were family with 2 kids and needed to sleep together in one room (which we wished initially to avoid :) ).
