Location was very difficult to locate and was a unit in a family-owned apartment complex

Spacious, new, comfortable, fully equipped apartment. A/C, heater. Washer, dryer, kitchen. Great location in Santa Elena/Monteverde.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment - just what our family needed as a launching off point in the Monteverde area. There is a lovely balcony to sit, read, and sip coffee on as the sun comes up, and an cute little covered outdoor space with couches and a grill for chilling in the evening. The neighbors are super friendly and it's wonderful to see a vibrant neighborhood.

The neighborhood was a bit noisy and the windows don't block out much sound. There were motorcycles going through the neighborhood until 11pm, dogs barking, and then the roosters early morning. Bring earplugs!

Bed is very comfy and you can see beautiful sunsets on the balcony

Location is a bit outside of the town. The problem is not the distance but instead the altitude difference that makes every walk into the town a marathon. I can only recommend this apartment if you rent a car. Sleeping is also difficult as you can hear every wind blow passing by, but to be honest this seems to be a problem across all buildings in monteverde - at least we had the same issue in another Airbnb as well.

Great kitchen and laundry facilities on a quiet little side street. Lovely playground at the top of the road. wonderful owners who were so kind to us. Strong WiFi.

It was a bit of a walk from bars and restaurants up a steep busy road it would be fine if you didn’t have small kids. The water wasn’t very hot in the shower. Building site in front (although noise only in the day).
