Ancient Paphos - cozy place next to the sea, marina, historical sites, buses, mall, and market

Good place for a family. It feels big for four persons. Very nice view from the apartment. Relatively close to beach (8min walk) and very close to supermarket. Good Internet connection. Host very communicative and helpful.

The location is perfect. You can see the Lighthouse beach from the balcony. The beach is like a 5 minute walk. The shopping mall is a 5 minute walk. The bus station to go to the Coral Bay Beach is a 5 minute walk.

The furniture needs a little upgrade, but nothing too big. The location compensates all the small things.

My stay was excellent, thanks to this well-located property in Kato Paphos. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, cozy sleeping arrangements, and dedicated parking. The view from the window was a highlight, featuring the park, sea, and lighthouse. The host was very responsive and accommodating, making my experience smooth and enjoyable. The location is unbeatable, right in the center with pubs, groceries, and a mall nearby. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. Overall, this property is a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Kato Paphos. Highly recommended.

I can't imagine a better place to stay. The property was on the edge of the Nea Paphos Archaeological site, facing nature, birds and trees. It was quiet and beautiful and extremely handy (walkable) for anything in Paphos. If you want to travel further the bus stops and station are nearby. A great winter place with excellent heating, you can also see the sunsets from the apartment until mid-February. The apartment also feels spacious and roomy

The equipment and fittings need a bit of upgrading. The owner, however, was exceptionally responsive and when we told him about the scratched non-stick pots and wonky cutlery he brought us new ones right away. The mattress could use changing to a higher quality one but he plans to upgrade as soon as he can.

I booked an apartment with sea view (+ balcony) in the hope that it will be a quiet place where I can enjoy the views from the balcony and do some creative writing. It's been a very disappointing experience due to: 1) Lack of privacy + noise. The balcony is sandwiched between other neignbours' balconies, with little privacy left to enjoy the views. One of the neighbours is a heavy smoker and felt very uncomfortable around him, while the others (a family) were working from home and in meetings most of the time which means that my quiet retreat was anything but quiet, and clearly did not get to spend much time on the balcony due to lack of privacy + smell of smoke + barbequing from other neighbours. 2) solar water heating : I needed to wait 2-3 hours for the water to get heated as it was cloudy, and it was never hot. I was only able to take lukewarm showers for the whole week. 3) poor internet connection 4) unpleasant (cooking) smell in the apartment (not unbereable) Overall, one of the most disappointing stays booked through booking.com. Felt more of a rip off. I was genuinely so happy to be back home!
