"Very disappointing and had it been more than a 2 night stay we would have moved."

4.0

The location was great. It’s a 10-15 minute uphill walk to the gondola and the little town. We didn’t mind that but you might need a car if that’s a problem.

The photos online were taken with a wide angle as the property is much smaller than it looks. We are a family of 5 and struggled with the space. This would definitely not suit more than 5 people. The kitchen and bathroom are tiny. The property in general was a bit rundown and unclean. The garden at the front was overgrown, and we had to wipe down the balcony furniture when we arrived. Inside, the surfaces were clean but there was thick dust under the beds. Pillows on the beds were old and flat. We stayed in summer and asked for fans as the heating was on a permanent low setting which wouldn’t switch off. We did try. The owner suggested we just open the windows as that’s what he did. There aren’t any fly screens and the property is low rise so we weren’t comfortable doing that through the night. It was thankfully cooler the following night. I raised my issues with the owner who insisted the property was checked by him the day before we arrived and it was clean. He said ‘the pillows were maximum 1 year old and the carpets were replaced every time’. I can only conclude that the cleaning standards here are much lower than other places I’ve stayed if it was checked and deemed fine.
