Chalet Schwendiboden

Regula is a hospitable, attentive host who has created a clean and cozy place for travellers of all kinds to enjoy. Living in Schwendi was also great because it is quieter than Grindelwald while still having convenient access by train to all points of interest in the Jungfrau region. Would definitely recommend booking here.

Convenient location 2 minutes walk from the station with good connections to Grindelwald, Murren and Interlaken. Very comfortable bed, powerful hot shower and well equipped kitchen with excellent oven.

A little more lighting in the living space as it was a little gloomy in some areas, and a working outside light.

the location was amazing! the view is what you expect of Switzerland. just pure beauty of nature! Apartment was very clean and organized. Amenities are very useful. The owner was very accomodating and responsive, and gave us a very warm welcome before and after our stay

그린델발트 근처 숙소를 포기하고 슈벤디 샬레로 예약한 건 신의 한 수 였습니당! 그린델발트 쪽 숙소도 물론 훌륭했을 거예요. 마트가 가깝고 관광 명소 접근성도 좋아서, 3~4박 정도 머무는 분들께는 그린델발트를 추천드려요. 하지만 저희 처럼 6박 이상 느긋하게 머물며 여유로운 여행을 하고 싶다면, 슈벤디가 훨씬 어울립니다. 슈벤디는 고요하고 평화로워요. 다만, 슈벤디에서 그린델발트까지 이어지는 산책 코스를 걸어보지 못한 것이 후회됩니다ㅠ 숙소 컨디션은 정말 최고예요. 깨끗하고 따뜻하며, 주방용품이 완벽하게 정리되어 있습니다. 다양한 음식을 조리할 수 있을 만큼 잘 갖춰져 있어서, 저희는 오븐을 세 번이나 사용해 연어를 구워 먹었습니다. 한식을 챙겨온 걸 살짝 후회할 정도였답니다. 수건도 준비되어 있고, 젖은 수건을 말릴 수 있는 온풍기도 구비되어 있어요. 그리고 무엇보다 물 맛이 정말 좋아요. 마시는 물도, 샤워할 때의 물도 모두 깨끗하고 부드럽습니다. 역시 청정 지역이구나 싶었습니다. 많은 분들이 아이거 북벽 전망을 기대하시죠? 숙소에서도 보입니다. 다만 일정상 숙소에 머무는 시간이 많지 않아, 북벽을 바라보며 차를 마시지는 못했어요. 슈벤디역과는 도보 3분 거리라 접근성이 매우 좋습니다. 간혹 기차가 지나가는 소리가 들리는데, 오히려 그게 이곳의 운치를 더해줍니다. 번잡한 관광지보다 조용하고 고요한 곳에서 머물고 싶은 분들께 적극 추천드려요. 그리고 술을 좋아하신다면, 꼭 여유분의 화이트 와인을 구비하세요 :) 점심에도, 저녁에도 곁들이기 좋은 곳입니다. 마지막으로, 샬레 주인장도 정말 친절하세요. 영어가 서툴러도 괜찮아요 — 우리에겐 번역기가 있으니까요!그리고 왓츠앱으로 항시 소통이 가능합니다. 저희의 후기가 도움이 되길 바라며:)

Property was warm and cosy, It’s a 2 minute walk to the train station and trains run every half hour and Regula was a lovely host .

Die Lage war sehr gut. Nicht direkt in Grindelwald und somit weit ab vom Trubel. Aber mit dem Auto oder der kostenlosen Bahn schnell zu erreichen. Von unserem Studio im ersten Stock hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf den Eiger. Der pure Wahnsinn. Die Sauberkeit war exelent und die Gastgeberin REGULA super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mehr geht nicht. Wir haben die eine Woche in Grindelwald und Umgebung sehr genossen. Afsaneh und Frank
