Bolero Appartements

My husband and I rented a studio apartment. It was very comfortable for 2 people. The unit had a nice kitchen which we only used for breakfast. The location was fantastic for accessing the Furi Gondola. It was a 10 min walk into the center of town.

The facility had a spa. My husband and I were looking forward to using the jacuzzi after skiing but the water was not hot. We were very disappointed in the water temperature and since there was an extra fee to use the facility we did not come back after the first day. The hostess was very nice but she never carried through on any requests. I received an email before arriving stating the receptionist would be available from 5-6pm everyday. There was never anyone at the reception desk. We had to send emails which went unanswered. On day one, I asked for a standard coffee maker. I was told it would be brought to the room. I never received it even after having sent several follow-up emails. The hostess offered to provide me with taxi information for our departure but she never followed up. The place is nice just don't expect any support beyond getting the room keys.

The Key is a card, and it was in a mail box with my name. The location is very near a major sky lift. The apartment was quite new and clean.

I was surprised by the lack of basic hospitality for a property charging over 200 CHF per night. First, the reception was unattended despite the hours posted on the chart. Because there was no staff present, I couldn't access the advertised amenities like the sauna and pool. I also needed guidance on where to store my luggage on departure day, but there was no one around to ask. Regarding the room, while the kitchen was fairly equipped, it felt very bare-bones. There was no welcome tea or coffee, not even a basic tea bag. There was no soap in the bathroom and only half a roll of toilet paper. At this price point, providing these small essentials wouldn't hurt their profit margin, but their absence makes the stay feel quite cheap. I expected much more for over 200 CHF per night.
