Ferien am Luganer See mit Seesicht

Zwitserland blijft ons keer op keer verrassen met zijn schoonheid, en deze accommodatie ligt werkelijk op een unieke plek: direct aan het prachtige meer van Lugano. We waren hier met twee volwassenen en twee kinderen en hebben enorm genoten van de omgeving. De tuin is mooi en goed verzorgd, en er is dagelijks iemand aanwezig (een soort huismeester), wat prettig voelt. Een groot pluspunt is de combinatie van het meer en het zwembad, al bleek bij aankomst helaas dat er een technische storing was waardoor het zwembad tijdens ons verblijf niet te gebruiken was. Gratis parkeren is een fijn extraatje.

Verbeterpunten: • We kregen maar één sleutel van het appartement, wat onhandig is voor een gezin. • Er is geen vriesvak in de koelkast. • Het beddengoed voelde ruw aan en was niet van koel katoen. • Er ontbraken enkele praktische zaken zoals een schaar en mokken/theeglazen. • De verlichting is fel; een dimmer zou voor meer sfeer zorgen. De aanwezige LED-strip met kleurtjes is grappig, maar voegt weinig toe aan de gezelligheid. • Het aantal handdoeken was wat beperkt voor vier personen. • Het was handig geweest als vooraf duidelijk was dat er een gezamenlijke wasruimte is (tegen betaling: 2 CHF per keer).

Very nice flat with most needed furniture, even oil and vinager plus other basics for cooking. Very convenient. Kindly we got a bottle of wine and water. Unfortunately we got some renovation work (probably) next door in the room exactly next to ours, starting drill and hammer at 8am for 2 days…

Entrance key password was given at 18:00 on check in day. We stayed 4 hours in-front of the building waiting. Very disappointing

One of the best apartments with a view and balcony and pool and access to the lake and fee minutes drive to city centre

Unfortunately there was no instructions provided before arrival on how to access the parking garage and apartment and everything in the building has no English instructions. So for a foreign tourist it was a little bit of hassle to settle down and to use the laundry room. Otherwise the place deserves 10/10

Location wise, superb! as the view of this apartment is directly to Lake Lugano! Downside is the parking lot view, although we can still see the swimming pool. Old apartment with modern interior I'd say, price is high (Switzerland price standard) even for autumn price when this apartment's location is at the border of Campionè Italia (Italian part of Bissone - the fishermen village) The owner of the apartment is generous enough with the abundant "nespresso" capsules and tea bags for our 2 nights stay and the apartment is well equipped with kitchen utensils, complete cruet for cooking and dining inside... the issue is just kitchen set and bed room is actually in the same area! I can't sleep smelling the meals we just cooked.. hahaha, lucky the balcony was big for the three of us to actually dine outside. What's impressive is there's even complete first aids kit in the cupboard! I'm grateful we don't have to use it while staying there.. stairs and more stairs in the front yard is indeed an incident prone enviroment if you're elderly travelers. The way to get here from the city of Lugano Centro Train Station was also not an easy task. We need to get to the Bus Terminal from the Teain Station then take Bus #439 (only 439! The 431 also goes to Bissone Autostrada but with very long route, as it goest to Morcote first) and stopped at Bisssone Arco. Right besides the apartment. Lucky we had a local people telling us where to droped off, because if we dropped off at Bissone Autostrada, we had to walk again another km to reach this apartment! By the way, the apartment's name is Residenza Lago di Lugano to make it easier to look for in the google map. I assumed, the owner of the apartment is not someone who's using public transportation so Vincenzo wasn't very informative.

The cold water faucet in the kitchen is not working, so hot water only to wash dishes. And no shampoo and body wash gel available in the bathroom.
