It might not suit families that prefer something more modern.

We enjoyed staying at the property that had beautiful views of the mountains and the lake from the balcony and breakfast nook. It was so nice to have a complete kitchen to prepare a few meals. The Raclette pans, free parking, and washing machine were great added features. The location is ideal, just up the hill from 3 supermarkets, 7 mins away from Thun and less than 1 hr drive to Interlaken. I would stay here again.

A large apartment, very warm, with a lot of deposit spaces and all the facilities, at a fair price. An amazing view to lake Thun and snowy peaks. Private parking in front of the house. Private entrance. House is in a quiet area, 5 minutes driving from Thun, a lovely town, with two picturesque castles. Good communication with our host, although only by whatsapp. Sometimes, minor problems with hot water, maybe due to heating programme, but not disturbing.

I like the dining room which we can all eat, talk while having the sun shine in us.

Hot water was not enough for the first day but Kurt the host is super helpful and we had very nice shower for the next day.
