very spacious, two bathrooms, pool & jacuzzi.

there was nothing about this property that was good.

1. check in was disgraceful. The security guard couldn’t find the keys. I tried to phone the owner. the number we were given didn’t work. the security guard tried a different number and eventually got through. 2. no one showed us how anything worked in the apartment. there were no instructions 3 the apartment is completely open plan. the bedrooms are in the living space so there is no privacy whatsoever 4 the beds in the loft had one thin sheet. there were no additional blankets and the apartment was freezing. my friend had to sleep in her clothes 5. the apartment is described as having sound insulation. that is completely untrue. there is a lot of noise from the streets late into the night, especially the sound of horses on the cobbled streets. 6. the gas cooker didn’t work so we couldn’t even heat water for a drink. we only managed to get one of the gas rings working and it was very feeble gas supply. it wasn’t clear how to switch these on and off. no instructions. we cook with gas at home but this appliance felt very unsafe and there was a residual smell of gas. we reported this to the security staff. 7. we contacted the owner repeatedly through the message service on booking.com. we received absolutely no replies to any of our requests for help. we only received a response when we informed the owner that we couldn’t stay in this apartment, at which point he gladly informed us that we would lose all the money from our booking for the remaining 3 nights. we asked booking.com to intervene. they told us this was an independent business and in effect nothing to do with them. we have received no compensation. we moved to another apartment booked through Airbnb. we had no problems there whatsoever. that host was attentive and responsive. 8. this is by far the worse experience I have had with a booking through booking.com. the whole experience was an absolute disgrace.

I told the manager that we were going to have 17 family members over for Christmas Eve dinner. He told me to provide the list. At this point I was understanding that this was ok. I sent it to them and then he said it will be $7 per person and that this was Booking.com policy. I was not able to find that rule. We ended up having to cancel the dinner there and go somehere else. We were not impressed. The kitchen stove did not always work either.

Location easy to walk to everything in walled city in 5 to 15 minutes, 2 pools on site, decor, bedroom arrangement good for family of 4 with separate bedrooms on separate levels, good closet space in both bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms

The bathrooms were not cleaned prior to our arrival. There were used towels on sink and floor. We didn't receive clean towels until the next day. We couldn't initially figure out the A/C units. There were 3 units with 3 separate remotes with no instructions. We encountered 4 cockroaches over our 1 week stay. The left hot handles in both bathrooms did not work. The hot water in the showers never really got hot only lukewarm. The hairdryer only stays on for a minute or two before stopping. You will hear horse carriage rides outside your windows until 11 or 11:30 pm each day. No doors on bedrooms, they are open to living room/kitchen and open area upstairs.

Everything beautiful City, Very nice apartment. Alot for you to do. Walk around the city and enjoy the scenery and Beautiful Women. If good created anything more precious than Cartagena and Money He/She kept to themselves
