Gemütliche 1-Zimmer Wohnung

Klein aber fein, sehr großes wunderschönes Bad, Wohnung mit separatem Eingang, für ein Wochenende perfekt!!!

Matratze leider sehr durchgelegen, Mittelfuß des Bettes musste mehrmals wieder aufgestellt werden.

Booked this apartment out of a few choices, because of the rating on Booking.com. Very cozy and comfort apartment at the back of a House, separate entrance with own parking spot, big bathroom and comfortable sleeping / living room. Ideal if you look for freedom, space, good air and a peaceful night of sleep ... Nancy was fantastic, responded to all my needs and very timely. Forgot a blanket there, and she is trying to sort it out and return to me in Austria. Can truly recommend for a few days stay ... the town is cute and close to Bonn, Koln und Duesseldorf.

The booking.com communication from / to the landlord is a disaster, and the phone booking.com app is not linking the messages which are sent from / to host, booking.com and the customer. This really sucks and I had to call the owner in the evening to straighten out how to find my key upon arrival. They should improve their system and communication between hosts and customers ... ridiculous!! Will use Trip.com and other OTA's in future ... nothing to do with the host, but rather with Booking.com !!!

The hosts left a bottle of apple juice and sparkling water which was a bonus. There was plenty of cooking aids which I did not use. The keys were in a key lock. The welcoming letter was excellent. The neighbours helped me book a taxi which was brilliant as they knew who to recommend. The owner was out for the evening.

There were no shops nearby and the restaurant was not functioning. I would like to have had a a list of carry out locations and also a taxi firm.

- very clean - very comfortable bathroom with a big shower. Also enough towels! I believe there were 2 sets of big towels and 2 sets of small towels while we only spend 4 nights there. Bodywash and handsoap is provided. Even paper tissues! - kitchen is complete (microwave, oven, 1 pot stove, soap, sponge, dish rag, fridge, utensils). The kitchen was more complete than most studios we’ve been too. - almost every window has a mosquito screen. - separate entrance, which provides great privacy. - the room has a TV with free Netflix and Disney+ if you enjoy watching something. - great location: very close to Phantasialand and Kohln. It was a 10min drive to Phantasialand and close to Kohln Park&Ride so we could get to the centre by a cheap tram. Very close to shops such as Lidl and Aldi. In the village there’s not much to see but there are some great restaurants that you can visit by foot.

- there were no wall outlet to charge phone near the bed, but there was one close above the couch. So it wasn’t a big deal at all.
